E C Glynn
Author
Elyse Glynn lives in Australia and has been writing fantasy since she was ten years old. She decided to finally pursue the passion seriously in 2024 and quit full time work to dedicate herself fully to publishing her debut novel, 'Heretic Behaviour'.
Her favourite books are 'Kushiel's Dart', By Jacqueline Carey, 'Poison Study' by Maria V Snyder, 'The Blacktongue Thief' By Christopher Buehlman, 'The Cruel Prince' by Holly Black and 'The Atlas Six' by Olivie Blake. As a child she went to a conservative religious school and as a result has spent much of her adult life deconstructing religion and its influences on her life. She also loves nature and has spent many days waltzing around the Australian outback and the Scottish Highlands, seeking inspiration and magic. Elements from all of the above can be found in her own work.
Her writing credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Production, and Masters in International Relations. Her poetry has been published in the Student Magazine at the University of Technology - Sydney and her Short Story was selected as a finalist in the Sorrento Writing Competition 2024. Her interests include playing guitar, cello and singing all around Brisbane, watching hours of 'Fundie Snark' on Youtube, and freaking herself out by listening to too many True Crime podcasts.
She is a former Captain in the Australian Army. She has an orange cat named Antonio.
